Visuals...

Although the sound will probably remain the more important piece there will be a visual aspect as well. In an attempt to take advantage, and also encourage the surround sound nature of the performance, visuals will be projected onto screens hanging in the centre of the space. Currently we are tossing up between having two screens, both translucent, and projecting the two sets of visuals onto both screens; allowing the audience to move around the screens and see the reverse sides of them. This will also have the effect of encouraging audience movement, which will allow them to experience the surround sound nature of the piece. The second idea is to have one opaque screen and have a set of images projected onto either side. This will also encourage, to a lesser degree, audience movement.

The actual visuals will probably be looping and over exposed, in an attempt to subdued clips that can be spliced together live. This will not only fit the ambient nature of the clip but will also allow the music to take pride of place, creating meaning within the visuals, rather than the visuals driving the music.
